ICS for Coventry City Council

ShareCare Integrated Children’s System (ICS) for Coventry City Council. The diagram below identifies the areas in Coventry’s ‘Children’s Services’ Model where the ShareCare system supports the City’s multi-agency service delivery plan. The ShareCare ICS module:

• provides a framework for assessment, planning, intervention and review
• delivers e-form exemplars for use by social services practitioners which demonstrate how information gathered in the course of working with children and families can be recorded in a structured manner and also used to generate particular reports required to support this work.
• covers core data requirements for social services, which set out the information essential for effective multi-agency practice with children and families and which form part of the overall information required to deliver and plan services

The ShareCare:ICS system comes into play at Level 4 in the diagram below, but the multi-agency design of the system also ensures that the DfES ICS requirements are fully integrated with multi-agency Common Assessment (CAF) and other requirements at level 1 to 3 in the model.
